Get-together at Testia09 November 2017
On October 27, Testia welcomed several partners of the Ludwig Bölkow Campus to present their NDT (non-destructive testing) capabilities and to inaugurate their new 300 kV High-End Computed Tomography system. The so called "Get-Togethers" take place every 2 months with changing locations and serve the networking on campus.

7 November 2017 - Around 60 invited guests from the fields of science, industry and politics caught up on the activities of Munich Aerospace. The 7th Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Munich Aerospace included the announcement of personnel changes dediced by the Members' representatives Professor Pascale Ehrenfreund, Professor Wolfgang A. Herrmann, Professor Merith Niehuss and Professor Mirko Hornung. Munich Aerospace also bid farewell to seven graduates who have completed the programme. Professor Klaus Drechsler and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Hans Steininger, moderated the event.[ more... ]
TUM Partner Event in Garching25 October 2017
25 October 2017 - 25 members of the Munich Aerospace Research Network have followed the invitation to take a tour of selected laboratories and research facilites at the TUM Department of Mechanical Engineering in Garching. Professor Mirko Hornung gave the participants a short introduction to the department structure and also introduced his Institute of Aircraft Design. After Professor Ulricht Walter's presentation of the Institute of Astronautics, the participants took tours at the Institute of Astronautics, the Institute of Flight System Dynamics and the Institute of Aerodynamics and Fluid Mechanics. "24h Challenge" at LBC on October 2324 October 2017
On October 23, ”Cevotec GmbH“ (www.cevotec.com) has already been the third LBC-based start-up company taking advantage of the “24h challenge” offered by the Airbus Leadership University. Airbus managers enrolled in the “Experienced Manager Programme” support young companies in finding solutions and strategies for a given topic in the frame of the “24h challenge”. This initiative contributes to a rapid and successful growth of the start-ups.
